Zach Adams

Founder & CEO

Zach Adams is the founder and CEO of XFinLabs, the company behind XiCLOPS. He brings nearly two decades of experience across business strategy, enterprise operations, technology implementation, and alternative investment distribution.

His strength is translating complex business requirements into clear product direction and disciplined execution. His background spans enterprise process design, advisory operations, and private asset custody, giving him a practical understanding of the infrastructure, relationships, and accountability that demanding business environments require.

At XFinLabs, Zach leads strategy, product direction, and commercial development. A Project Management Professional (PMP), he brings an operator’s perspective to AI, from defining the problem through implementation and adoption, with a focus on accurate, verifiable work and repeatable business results.

Brent McKendry

Founder & CTO

Brent brings multiple successful exits and deep financial-services experience to the hardest part of private AI: making it work in production, on a firm's own infrastructure, under real scrutiny.

He owns the architecture behind XFinLabs' single-tenant deployments, the retrieval and citation pipeline that ties every answer back to its source, and the audit ledger that lets a firm prove how a conclusion was reached.

He's built and led high-performance engineering teams before, and he runs this one on the principle that the person who ships a system is the person responsible for it. The result is a platform that treats privacy and traceability as architecture, not features bolted on at the end.

Who is Brent McKendry?

Brent McKendry is the founder and CTO of XFinLabs, the company behind XiCLOPS. He brings multiple successful exits and deep financial-services experience to the hardest part of private AI: making it work in production, on a firm's own infrastructure, under real scrutiny. He has built and led high-performance engineering teams before, and runs this one on the principle that the person who ships a system is the person responsible for it.

What does Brent McKendry do at XFinLabs?

As CTO, Brent owns the architecture behind XFinLabs' single-tenant deployments, the retrieval and citation pipeline that ties every answer back to its source, and the audit ledger that lets a firm prove how a conclusion was reached. The result is a platform that treats privacy and traceability as architecture, not features bolted on at the end.

Why did the founders create XiCLOPS?

Both founders' bios point to AI whose work can be checked. Zach focuses on accurate, verifiable work and repeatable business results, and Brent builds for privacy and traceability, so a firm can prove how a conclusion was reached. XiCLOPS applies that to questionnaires: it drafts each answer from your own documents, shows the documents behind it and flags in yellow what your files do not cover.

What does XiCLOPS do with my questionnaire?

XiCLOPS uses your documents to fill out RFPs, RFIs and due diligence questionnaires. You upload the questionnaire and the files it should answer from, in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF, then match a completed template or pick a style such as Concise, Balanced or Detailed. XiCLOPS reads your sources, writes an answer for each question you selected and highlights what your files could not supply. Your questionnaire comes back in its original format, with the same answers in XiCLOPS format as a second download.

Is XiCLOPS private AI for financial services documents?

XiCLOPS is built for sensitive business information, and its founders bring experience in financial services and alternative investments to building private AI that cites its sources. It answers fund and manager due diligence questionnaires from documents such as valuation policies, committee minutes and valuation reports, as well as underwriting and M&A questionnaires. Customer documents and processing context are not used to train underlying AI models, and customer information is logically separated to reduce the risk of cross-customer data exposure.

How does XiCLOPS protect my documents?

Customer data is encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2 or higher for network communications. Access is limited through role-based and least-privilege controls, and MFA is required for administrative tools. Customer data is retained according to contractual requirements and securely deleted under documented procedures when no longer required, and backups are encrypted. Read the controls, infrastructure and security documents in the Trust Center.

How do I check the evidence behind an answer?

Open Sources beside any answer to see the documents behind it; all plans, including the free trial, include Sources. Yellow highlights flag details your files do not cover, so you know where to add information or state a gap. To change an answer, choose which documents XiCLOPS should read and add instructions, then regenerate it, or edit it yourself. Review the generated answers before using or sharing your document.

How can I try XiCLOPS?

Choose Try XiCLOPS free to sign up; the free trial includes 1 run on your own documents, with no card required. It answers up to 25 questions from up to 750 source pages, and any remaining questions are left blank. Each paid run covers up to 100 questions and 1,500 source pages, and you see the run count before you commit. Large uploads and processing can take hours.

How do I contact XiCLOPS or XFinLabs?

Use the Contact link in the footer to send the company an email. XFinLabs also has a LinkedIn page, linked beside the copyright line in the footer. To learn more about the product first, How it works walks through each step, Pricing explains how runs are counted and the Trust Center sets out the security controls.

What is XFinLabs?

XFinLabs is the company behind XiCLOPS, and its legal name is XFinLabs, Inc. Its two founders split the work, with Zach Adams as CEO on strategy and commercial development and Brent McKendry as CTO on architecture and engineering. For XiCLOPS, XFinLabs maintains a documented incident-response program that moves an incident through detection, containment, eradication, recovery, communication and review, and it performs vulnerability assessments and applies critical security updates across the application and infrastructure layers.

Who is XiCLOPS built for?

XiCLOPS is for teams that answer questionnaires from their own documents. Its use cases cover underwriting, M&A, investment diligence, sales and proposals, security and vendor reviews, and operations and client services, from a fund due diligence questionnaire to a buyer's RFP or a vendor security review. The workflow is the same in each: upload the questionnaire and the files that answer it, review the drafts, check the yellow highlights and download the completed document.

Which documents can XiCLOPS answer from?

Supporting files can be Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF, and they are usually policies, reports, presentations or past responses. XiCLOPS prepares each file you upload, and you can remove any that do not belong in the project before the run starts. Your files supply every fact in the draft, so they decide what XiCLOPS can answer. Source pages are totalled across all of them, so many short files and one long file with the same page count use the same number of runs.

What is a run in XiCLOPS?

Each run is a single questionnaire answered end to end from the documents you supply. On paid plans, one run handles as many as 100 questions and 1,500 source pages, and a bigger job counts as more runs: divide the questions by 100 and the pages by 1,500, round each up and use the larger number. A retry after a system failure, or downloading a finished document again, is not charged as another run.

Does XiCLOPS have plans for teams and larger firms?

Yes. The Team plan gives up to 5 users one shared balance of 50 runs a month, instead of separate per-seat allowances. Enterprise is for larger teams and custom requirements, with a custom run allowance and no published price; ask about private data rooms, source citations, secure sharing, audit and compliance recordkeeping, and implementation or procurement support. To discuss your users, volume and requirements, use the Contact link in the footer.

Where is XiCLOPS hosted, and how is it kept running?

XiCLOPS operates on AWS cloud infrastructure under an active security program and is designed to keep operating. Its environment uses a Multi-AZ design with redundant infrastructure, and documented continuity and recovery procedures support restoring critical services during a disruption, backed by a separate recovery environment. Access to customer data and critical systems is logged to support monitoring, traceability and incident investigation, and the Trust Center sets out the documented recovery objectives.

Which security practices is XiCLOPS built on?

The controls behind XiCLOPS are aligned to SOC 2-type security practices, and its incident-response approach is aligned with NIST 800-61. The application is built with secure coding, dependency scanning, peer review and testing, and software changes follow documented change controls. The Information Security Policy, Incident Response Plan and Business Continuity Plan are available on request through the Trust Center, which helps compliance, procurement and legal teams run their own vendor review.
